Where it works and where it doesn’t
Works on smooth, hard floors: cast PVC, linoleum, marmoleum, tiles with narrow joints, polished concrete, and varnished wood. It won’t stick to carpet, rough tiles with wide joints, unsealed concrete, or outdoor interlocking pavers — a sign or stencil is better there.
For vertical surfaces, vehicle wraps, and window graphics, self-adhesive vinyl rolls are more suitable.
Don’t apply to freshly laid floors immediately. New PVC and varnish need a few weeks for plasticizers to evaporate — otherwise, the sticker will start peeling after a few days.
Shape cutting
Floor stickers are usually circles, arrows, footprints, or logos — rarely rectangles. You can choose shape cutting in your order. Kiss-cut cuts only the vinyl while the backing remains intact, making it easy to transfer. Die-cut cuts through the backing paper, which is ideal for large batches of the same shape.
How long it lasts
In a standard shop, expect three to six months; in high-traffic passages, even less. R10 lamination protects the print from abrasion, but pallet jack wheels and sand from shoes are tougher. In exhibition or office settings, it can last a year or more.
It can be cleaned normally with a mop and detergent. What to avoid: steam cleaners, rotary machines with hard pads, and aggressive degreasers.
How to prepare your files
PDF at actual size, 1 cm bleed. For shape cutting, draw the cut line as a separate vector path in a spot color named CutContour and leave at least a 3 mm margin from the design.
Resolution: floors are viewed from two meters, so 150 dpi at actual size is sufficient. Details can be found in the PDF guide near the order form.

Is anti-slip included?
Yes. We supply the material with R10 anti-slip lamination included; there are no extra charges.
Will it stick to tiles?
Yes, on tiles with narrow joints. With wide or deep joints, the vinyl won’t bridge the gap and will start to tear there — better to place the design so the joint is outside or choose smaller pieces.
How long does it last in a shop?
Three to six months depending on traffic. In entrances where everyone walks and brings in sand, even less. In an office or showroom, easily a year.
Can I put it outside?
Yes, on covered entrances and smooth concrete under a roof. No for interlocking pavers, asphalt, and areas where snow plows operate in winter — it won’t last a week there.
How do I remove it?
From a corner, slowly, and ideally heated with a heat gun. Adhesive residue can be removed with a standard adhesive remover. On older varnish, test in a corner first.
Can you make a circle or arrow?
Yes, that’s what shape cutting is for. Enter the dimensions of the bounding rectangle — the area is calculated from that — and send the cut line in the files.
