Business card printing from 50 pcs
A business card is the most common print product ordered repeatedly – and usually needed fast. We print digitally on a Xerox Versant 3100 and cut on a Duplo DC 545, making even 50 pieces worthwhile without needing to order thousands. The price is calculated instantly – including paper, cutting, and optional lamination.
Business card formats
Standard single-part business cards:
- 90 × 50 mm – Czech standard, best-selling size.
- 85 × 55 mm – European format, credit card size.
- 90 × 55 mm – five millimeters taller for when you need more space.
- 55 × 55 mm – square. A designer format often unavailable elsewhere.
Folded business cards with a center crease – double the space for text, pricing, or a map:
- 180 × 50 mm – folded to 90 × 50 mm.
- 170 × 55 mm – folded to 85 × 55 mm.
- 110 × 55 mm – folded to 55 × 55 mm.
- 180 × 55 mm – folded to 90 × 55 mm.
Paper types
We print business cards on 350 gsm coated paper, available in gloss or matte. We don’t offer lower weights for business cards – they feel cheap and bend easily. Matte coated paper is easier to write on, while gloss makes colors pop. We crease folded business cards before folding to prevent cracking; creasing is included in the price.
Lamination
We offer double-sided roll lamination in matte and gloss finishes. We laminate the entire sheet before cutting, so the film holds right to the edge. Matte gives a velvety finish and resists fingerprints, while gloss makes colors pop. Note: you cannot write on laminated cards with a pen.
How to prepare artwork for business cards
- 3 mm bleed on all sides, text and logos at least 4 mm from the trim line.
- Thin borders around the edge are not recommended – even a half-millimeter shift is noticeable after cutting.
- CMYK, 300 dpi, fonts converted to curves or embedded in the PDF.
- For folded cards, send the flat size, e.g., 180 × 50 mm, not the folded size.
- Send double-sided cards as a single two-page PDF – the first page is the front.

FAQ
How many business cards fit on one sheet?
For the 90 × 50 mm format, it’s 21 pieces per SRA3 sheet, including bleed and trim marks. If your order doesn’t fit exactly, we’ll fill the sheet for free – you’ll get 105 pieces instead of 100.
Can I have multiple names in one order?
Yes, but each name is a separate item – set the number of different cards in the field above the button. Setup is charged once.
How much does business card printing cost?
The calculator above will determine the price. For example, 500 double-sided 90 × 50 mm cards on 350 gsm coated paper cost less than two crowns per piece without lamination.
