DTF Printing
DTF (Direct to Film) printing is a modern digital printing technology that allows for the printing of both raster and vector graphics onto transfer films. This method is highly popular in the garment industry as it offers a wide range of possibilities for printing on textile materials such as cotton, polyester, lycra, and more. Textile transfer printing enables printers to create unique and creative designs that are durable and resistant to wind, water, and sunlight.
Digital transfer printing is also a very efficient and effective printing method—you don’t need to keep printed textiles in stock. Simply have the transfers printed, and you can apply them to the required textiles as orders come in.
The greatest advantage of DTF printing technology is that it can be used on any type of textile material. This means that printers can achieve the same printing results on cotton, polyester, lycra, viscose, polyamide, and other materials.
Digital transfer (DTF printing) is one of the most popular techniques for printing full-color logos and graphics in photographic quality. The colors (CMYK) are first digitally printed onto a large paper roll. A white layer is then printed over the colored areas. Subsequently, an adhesive is added to allow for adhesion to the item. The final step of the process is applying the transfer image or logo to the item. Using pressure and heat, the graphics are transferred onto the substrate.
