Pad printing
Pad printing is a technique where silicone “stamps” are used to print a logo onto an object. This technique achieves sharp printing and perfect color matching (PMS). Pad printing is the most widely used printing technique, where the logo is etched onto a metal plate and then transferred to the object using a silicone carrier, as ink does not adhere to silicone. As with screen printing, each color must be printed separately.

About pad printing
Materials suitable for pad printing
- Plastics (ABS, PP, PE, etc.) – common promotional items and technical parts (adhesion / pretreatment is addressed for certain plastics).
- Metals (anodized, painted surfaces) – small markings, logos.
- Glass and ceramics – according to durability requirements and ink type.
- Rubber/silicone (if offered and verified) – specific colors and procedures.
Execution and processing options
- Printing on curved and complex shapes – the technology is ideal where other methods fail.
- Single-color and multi-color printing – logos, pictograms, simple graphics; multiple colors according to registration.
- Fine details and small areas – typical for pens, buttons, small parts.
- Repeatability in series – suitable for stable branding and industrial production.
Why pad printing
- Prints even on complex shapes – concave/convex surfaces, radii, intricate parts.
- Suitable for small products – where precision and legibility are required.
- Efficient for series – stable results for repeat orders.
- Wide range of materials – with the correct choice of ink and surface preparation.
